Update T1+T2 Update 2020
What an amazing start to this school year! Sycamore Class have gone from strength to strength and have settled in really well to life back at school. We have taken part in some super exciting learning. In Term One, we focused on the well being of all pupils, where we painted in response to music, read books, learnt how to respond to our feelings and we also took part in a weekly rocksteady music lesson! During Black History month, we learnt all about Katherine Johnson, where the children created some truly beautiful portraits of her.
In Term Two, we started off the term with a trip in an Aeroplane around the 7 continents. Since then, the children have been learning about the continents in more depth and exploring different animals and weather patterns around the world! We have written stories, lots of description and Haikus! The children have developed their mathematical skills by using concrete manipulatives and bar models! Well done Sycamore Superstars!
See you in Term 3!
