A Guide to Lympne School

This should be able to answer any of your questions. If for any reason you find something missing please do let us know.

The School day runs as follows:

7:45am until 8:30am: Breakfast Club

8:30am: The main school gate is opened and children enter through the gate and go through the main pupil entrance which is located on the playground. There is always a member of the SLT (Senior Leadership Team) on the gate and another member of staff by the main entrance to the building. When Year R start there are always additional staff members on the gate to ensure that a smooth handover can be had.

No adults are permitted to come into the building at any time –staff on the gates and the main entrance will always take messages for you. If you need to see a particular member of staff you will need to go to the main office to make an appointment.

If you need an urgent meeting the school will do its upmost to see you as soon as possible, but because of the morning logistics this might not be until later that day or week, or via the phone.

Staff can always be contracted (during working hours 8am – 5pm term time only) by their email addresses which can be found on this website.

8:45am: The gate is closed and any late pupils need to go through the main office entrance.
